Property improvements
During 2021:
- Pruned front and back yard trees and bushes.
- Activated home-monitored security system.
- Painted the mailbox.
- Removed a tall evergreen tree in the front yard.
- Installed new exterior shutters on the front of the house.
- Repaired the existing "Leaf filter" gutter protection system in front of the house.
- Mulched several dead tree limbs and underbrush in the backyard.
- Replaced 5 ft of rotted facia on the front of the house.
- Removed 40 ft of old hedgerow in the front and back yards.
- Re-painted the wood fence surrounding the backyard.
- Re-painted the wrought iron fence in the side yards.
- Installed new window treatments (drapes) in the living room and dining room.
- Pressure-washed the driveway, walkways in front of the house, and pavers in the backyard patio.
- Repainted the stucco exterior of the house.
During 2022:
- Installed a new heating and air conditioning system.
- Installed new interior shutters on all windows in the master bedroom.
- Installed new attic exhaust fan.
- Constructed handrail from the backyard lawn to the covered terrace.
- Cleaned and adjusted fireplace gas log set.
- Planted considerable numbers of perennials in the backyard.
- Constructed a lighted water fountain in the backyard.
During 2023:
- Constructed concrete and brick paver edging in the sideyard.
- Constructed a concrete and brick perennial planter in the backyard.
- Constructed a concrete block raised vegetable garden bed and strawberry tower in the backyard.
- Installed a chandelier in the great room.
- Replaced two ceiling fans in the backyard terrace.
- Added window treatments to both upstairs bedrooms.
- Replaced two faucets in the master bathroom.
- Installed new interior shutters on both windows in the family room.
- Replaced shower fixtures.
- Replaced fresh water supply line from city hookup to the house as described at files/waterbreak.pdf
During 2024:
- Installed six window boxes with plantings in the front of the house.
- Added plantation shutters to four windows in the living and dining rooms.
- Constructed a raised bed vegetable garden in the backyard.
- Conducted annual termite and HVAC inspections. No deficiencies.
